This trail is located in Wadi Ain Zubia (Zubiya or Zoubia) in the Northern Jordanian Highlands. This area offers great hiking opportunities.

The trail takes you through Roman ruins, dense forests and the small village of Zubia with views of the valley below. Other than in the wadi, you walk on established paths.

Wadi Zubia Forest Walk - The Valley Descending into the Forest - Hiking in Jordan.

Don’t be surprised if you see local treasure hunters with shovels and pickaxes in the area as the rumor must be still out there that gold is to be found under the Roman ruins.
