Wadi Himara Palm Trees and Waterfall Trail - Hiking in Jordan - The Dead Sea
This is a short wadi with red cliffs and a scree slope with palm trees, juniper, oleander, reeds and capers.
You will rock hop along a stream with small waterfalls and pools. The trail ends at a small waterfall.
The Himara hiking area is divided into an upper and lower part. The Wadi Himara Palm Trees and Waterfall Trail is located in the lower part of the hiking area near the Dead Sea.
In between, you will find Jordan's tallest waterfall which base can only be reached by climbing up with ropes from the lower part, or by descending by ropes from the upper part.
