Wadi Himara Panorama Trail - Hiking in Jordan - The Dead Sea
Wadi Himara Panorama Trail - Hiking in Jordan - The Dead Sea
This is a short wadi walk with juniper, oleander, tamarix, caper and palms plus an incredible view at the end. It is a great place to have a picnic and absorb one of the best views of the Dead Sea from a beautiful and infrequently visited location.
If you are lucky, you will meet local Bedouins enjoying a cup of tea in the wadi.
The Himara hiking area is divided into an upper and lower part. In between, you will find Jordan's tallest waterfall which can only be reached at its base by climbing up with ropes from the lower part, or by descending by ropes from the upper part. The Wadi Himara Panorama Trail is located in the upper part of the hiking area in the vicinity of the Dead Sea.
