Wadi Numeira Siq Trail - Hiking in Jordan - The Dead Sea
Located near the Dead Sea, this extraordinary Wadi is famous for its hanging rock at the beginning of the trail and the magnificent and long narrow passage through the rock formation (also called a Siq).
The wadi is also known as "Water Petra" or Wadi Hudeira by the local Bedouins. It is an easy walk into a truly spectacular Siq with clear flowing water and massive walls that obscure the sky.
The trail can be reached easily with a 2WD car and is one of the hidden and easily accessible treasures in Jordan rarely visited by tourists.
